DOWN SOUTH MARSHMALLOW BROWNIES 
Brownies:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
2/3 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Miniature marshmallows

Melt one stick butter and stir in all other ingredients except the marshmallows. Pour into a greased and floured 8 x 8 inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. After baking, cover the brownies with miniature marshmallows. Put back into oven long enough to melt the marshmallows, but do not let them brown. Cover with icing.

Icing:

2 tbsp. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
5 tbsp. evaporated milk

Melt all ingredients in a pan, but do not let it come to a boil. Spread icing on top of brownies. Cool and cut into squares.
