HUNGARIAN NUTS 
1 lb. walnuts
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 stick butter

Toast walnuts 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Whip egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar, vanilla and salt. Fold in nuts. Melt butter on cookie sheet, spread nuts on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Must turn every 10 minutes.
