SWEDISH NUT CAKE | |
2 c. sugar 2 c. self-rising flour, sifted 2 whole eggs 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. nuts 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 tsp. vanilla Stir by hand all together, pineapple juice and all. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Better made a couple days ahead before using. Cool before icing. ICING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature 1 stick butter, room temperature 2 c. XXXXX sugar, sifted 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. nuts |
