CHICKEN AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1/4 c. oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 chicken, cut into pieces
1/2 lb. Italian pork sausage
1 c. onions, sliced
1 c. green pepper, sliced
1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 can tomatoes
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/8 tsp. pepper
8 oz. mostaccioli, spaghetti or noodles, cooked

Brown chicken in oil and garlic approximately 15 minutes on medium high heat. Remove and add sausage, cooking approximately 10 minutes or until brown. Remove and slice. Place all ingredients, except noodles, in an ovenproof casserole. Cover and bake 50 minutes or until the chicken is tender at 350 degrees. Serve with the mostaccioli, spaghetti or cooked noodles.
