SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1 pt. sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla TOPPING: 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. chopped nuts Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Blend in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix topping ingredients together. Pour 1/2 batter in greased tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 topping mixture over it, swirl slightly. Repeat with remaining batter and topping. Swirl. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
