LAMB CURRY 
1/2 c. butter
2 lg. onions, sliced
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
1 tbsp. ground coriander
2 lb. lamb, cut sm.
2 c. water
Salt to taste

Melt butter in large pot, add onions and garlic. Cook over medium heat until onions are brown. Add spices and saute 3 minutes. Add lamb, saute 10 minutes. Add water and salt. Keep heat on low, cook until meat is tender. Add more water, if necessary.
