SWEET POTATO COBBLER 
3 med. sweet potatoes
4 c. water
2 to 2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 stick butter

Slice potatoes and mix with remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender over medium heat. Pour into 9x13 inch deep baking dish. Top with crust mixture.

CRUST:

1/2 stick butter
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1/4 c. mayonnaise

Mix well and pour over above mixture. Bake at 425 degrees until top has browned. Will form a thick crust on top.
