SHEPHERD'S PIE 
9" baked pie shell
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
Onions
1/2 to 3/4 can bread crumbs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 c. mashed potatoes
1 stick butter

TOPPING:

Cheddar cheese, shredded
Bacon bits

Brown hamburger with onions. Add bread crumbs and soup. Mix until very thick. Pour mixture into pie shell and top with mashed potatoes and butter, mixed. Top with cheese and bacon bits. Put in broiler to melt cheese and warm up.
