EASY SHEPHERD'S PIE | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 green pepper 1 sm. onion 2 lg. carrots 2 stalks celery 1 can butter beans 1 can kidney beans 1 can cream of celery soup 1 can golden mushroom soup Bay leaf Seasoning salt to taste 6 servings instant mashed potatoes 1 egg, beaten Melted butter Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown meat, add vegetables, saute lightly. Combine all but last 3 ingredients in casserole. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 375 degrees. Make instant mashed potatoes for 6 servings. Add beaten egg. "Frost" pie. Brush with melted butter. Bake until lightly browned. |
