PECAN PRALINES | |
2 c. granulated sugar 1 c. dark brown sugar 4 c. coarsely ground pecans 1/4 lb. butter (1 stick) 1 c. Pet milk 2 tbsp. dark Karo syrup 1 tsp. vanilla Put all ingredients except pecans and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until mixture forms a soft ball in cool water. Add pecans and vanilla. Let mixture come to boil. Turn off fire and stir vigorously. When mixture starts to make a film, drop onto wax paper with spoon. |
