CREAM PUFFS 
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water
4 eggs

Mix flour and salt together (unsifted) and stir to blend. Bring shortening and water to boil in saucepan. Add dry ingredients quickly. Beat constantly until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a ball. Remove mixture from heat and let stand until cool. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until smooth after each addition. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

Remove from cookie sheet to waxed paper. Cool, cut off top and fill as desired - pudding, whipped cream, ice cream. Replace top and sprinkle with powdered sugar, hot fudge sauce, etc.

TIP: Can make smaller and fill with meat mixture, hot or cold.
