BROCCOLI - RICE CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 med. onion, chopped 1/2 stick butter 1 (3 lb.) chicken, stewed and cut up 1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli or chopped spinach, cooked and drained 1 c. quick cooking rice, uncooked 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted 1/4 c. water 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. water Saute onion in butter until transparent. Add chicken, broccoli or spinach, rice, soup, water, milk, and cheese. Mix well. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Can be frozen. |
