CRANBERRY RELISH 
1 lb. cranberries, rinsed and drained
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. chopped, candied ginger
2 tsp. finely grated orange peel
1/2 c. blanched, slivered almonds, toasted

Combine all ingredients except almonds. Cook over medium heat until cranberries "pop", about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and skim off foam. Stir in almonds. Chill. About 8-10 small servings.
