CRANBERRY AND APPLE RELISH 
1 lb. cranberries
2 firm cooking apples
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 inch stick cinnamon
2 tbsp. grated orange rind
1 tbsp. grated lemon rind

Wash and drain cranberries. Pare and slice apples.

Dissolve sugar in water and bring to a boil; add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer gently, without stirring, for about 10 minutes or until skins of cranberries burst and apples are tender. Cool and serve.
