SOUR CREAM DESSERT 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (any flavor)
1 tbsp. water
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream

Dissolve Jell-O, sugar and salt in boiling water. Stir in cream and vanilla (mixture will look curdled, but will become smooth). Stir in sour cream. Chill until slightly thickened. Beat until smooth. Pour into 3 or 4-cup ring mold. Chill until firm. Unmold. Serve with fruit if desired.

Makes 6 servings.
