BAKED SQUASH 
3 lbs. yellow squash
1/2 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. cracker meal or bread crumbs
Salt & pepper to taste
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tsp. sugar

Wash and cut up squash. Boil until tender, drain thoroughly, then mash. Add all ingredients except 1/2 of butter. Pour mixture into baking dish; melt remaining butter and pour on top. Sprinkle with cracker meal or bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until brown on top.
