BAKED SCALLOPS 
1 lb. scallops
Salt & pepper to taste
Mushrooms, finely chopped
Parsley
Seasoned bread crumbs
About 3 tsp. dry white wine
3 tsp. butter, melted
Lemon juice

Wash and drain scallops. Place in oven-proof low serving dish or pie pan. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley, mushrooms (optional), and bread crumbs. Drizzle butter over, then wine. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle a little lemon juice on and serve. Serves 3 to 4.
