I was all set to make this, and then found I had no sour cream in the fridge, so I used cream cheese, softened in microwave, thinned and smoothed it with little milk and melted butter, til I had something that was about the consistency of sour cream, and it turned out fine. I put a bit less parm cheese than recommended, and used the tip of so many others and added Old Bay seafood seasoning at the end. Very good; and provides exactly the amount of oven time needed to cut/grill veggies and make boiled potatoes!

Delicious! I used nonfat plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I also used a 1/2 butter 1/2 EVOO blend that comes in a tub. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is way too salty as written. I only used 1/2 the amount of salt and it was still salty. Next time I'll take the advice of another reviewer and won't use any salt.

My favorite recipe! The first time I made it, I followed the recipe and added a little bit of garlic powder and cayenne powder! Wow! It really did taste like lobster... We were licking the plate! I handed out the recipe to all my co-workers. Then I tried it with Greek yogurt, added cut spinach, eliminated the salt and served it over rice. It was less rich but still so very delicious... I plan to bake it this weekend but I'll turn it into a full blown seafood dish by adding shrimp, scallops and crab. I'm excited just thinking about it.

I absolutely can't stand pollock so when my husband brought it home from the market instead of the Haddock I asked for, I was cringing thinking of what I was going to do with it. He found this recipe and we gave it a whirl...I can honestly say it made the pollock more than "ok" it was down right good! All my kids cleared their plates and my three year old asked for seconds. Very pocketbook friendly too which is a real plus.

This was delicious! I think next time, I am going to serve each piece of fish on top of pasta and it will taste just like a seafood alfredo. This time I served it with baked potatoes and asparagus and the sauce on the fish was so good, I finished off my potatoes with the creamy sauce poured over top of it.

It's in the oven as I write/ It looks and smells delicious! I substituted French Onion dip, since I was out of sour cream and added a few spices - totally covered the fish and I cannot wait to eat what I know will be a marvellous dish! I love pollack! Poor mans lobster. Thanks for the recipe.

Used plain yogurt instead of sour cream, curry instead of Parmesan cheese, and omitted the butter -- gave the fish a light brush of olive oil instead. Then broiled. Nice. We'll do it again, although we'll try to have sour cream in the fridge for it next time.

My kids don't love fish, but they fight over the extra pieces when we make this. This is our go-to fish recipe. Awesome!

Great recipe - I use mayo instead of sour cream and top with soft bread crumbs tossed with a little more melted butter - the sauce is delicious over boiled red potatoes with parsley, chives and butter.

I just happened to have purchased Pollock for the first time, and am trying this recipe tomorrow (with some of the suggested alterations). I cook fish fairly often and just know that this will be a winner - can't wait!
