TEXAS CASSEROLE 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can herb tomato sauce
1 tsp. seasoned salt
2 tsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
8 oz. cream cheese, room temp.
4 oz. sour cream
3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Brown onions and ground beef. Drain off excess fat. Add tomato sauce, seasoned salt and sugar. Cook at low heat.

Cook noodles according to package directions.

Using a fork mash cream cheese and sour cream together. Grease a medium size casserole dish. Layer first with noodles, then meat mixture, then cream cheese mixture. Top with grated Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until heated through. 4-6 servings.
