CHEESE-ONION QUICK BREAD 
3/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 egg
3 tbsp. melted butter

Put milk and onion in bowl and let stand 10 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and mix. Spread into a greased 10-inch iron skillet. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 45 minutes.
