CLAM CAKES 
2 eggs, beaten light
1 c. quohaugs (cut up)
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix in order given and fry in deep fat. They are light and fluffy.
