SEVEN LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn (with liquid)
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 lb. lean hamburger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
4 strips of bacon, cut in half

Layer all of the above ingredients in a 2 quart baking dish in this order:

Rice, corn with liquid, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, half of the tomato sauce, 1/2 cup water, onion, hamburger, 1/2 teaspoon salt and the rest of the tomato sauce and 1/4 cup water.

Cover evenly with bacon strips. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake for 20 more minutes or more until bacon is done.
