TRIED AND TRUE OLD FASHIONED
CREAM PIE
 
1 heaping c. sugar
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
Pinch of salt
1/2 scant c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well. Pour into large, unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 425 degrees until crust is browned. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 40 minutes in all. Do not substitute the whipping cream it is what makes it good.
