MOTHER'S STICKY ROASTED CHICKEN 
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1-3 lb. chicken
1 c. chopped onion

In small bowl, thoroughly combine spices. Rub mixture inside and out of chicken evenly distributing spices down deep into skin. Place in sealed plastic bag overnight.

When ready to roast chicken, stuff cavity with onion. Roast uncovered at 250 degrees for 5 hours, basting occasionally.
