MARINADED SLAW 
1 lg. head cabbage
1 lg. green pepper
2 med. onions
Medium jar pimento
1 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed or celery salt

Keep this delicious slaw covered and refrigerated and it will keep indefinitely. In a large container, arrange the following ingredients in layers. One large head cabbage (shredded), green pepper (sliced paper thin), 2 medium onions, thin sliced separate the onion rings, 1 medium jar pimento, drained. DO NOT STIR.

For dressing mix together the following ingredients and boil two minutes, 1 cup salad oil, 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup white vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon celery seed. Pour the hot dressing over the vegetables. Cover tightly and refrigerate at least four hours before serving. Stir just before serving.
