STRAWBERRY AND CREAM SALAD 
1 c. chopped pecans or nuts
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 lg. pkg. frozen strawberries
1 pt. sour cream
1 lg. box strawberry Jell-O

Drain juice from pineapple and set aside. Add enough water to make 3 cups of liquid. Bring juice to a boil. Dissolve Jell-O in juice. Add berries, stirring occasionally until thawed. Add pineapple and nuts. Pour 1/2 mixture into clear bowl or dish. Chill until set. Spread top with sour cream. Add remaining mixture and congeal in refrigerator.
