MOM'S SWISS STEAK 
1 lg. round steak (with bone)
1 sm. onion, sliced
1 sm. can mushrooms
1 sm. can tomato sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour

Season your meat and brown. Pour juices from the meat and the meat itself, into a baking dish. Add the onion, mushrooms and tomato sauce. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Make gravy from the juice by adding the water/flour mixture. Stir as you add to avoid lumps. Great with real mashed potatoes.
