CHOCOLATE CHIP CREAM CHEESE BARS 
2 pkg. Slice N Bake chocolate chip cookies
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut, opt.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Slice first package of chocolate chip cookies into 1/4 inch slices and cover bottom of cake pan. Pat carefully to fill in open spaces.

Cream together cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Stir in coconut. Spread evenly over bottom cookie layer in pan.

Slice second package of chocolate chip cookies into 1/4 inch slices and cover cream cheese layer. With end of knife, gently spread edges of top cookie layer to fill in open spaces.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool thoroughly before cutting into bars.

Very easy to make, I discovered that the cookies will spread if you don't fill the cookie sheet up completely. The cookies were a big hit!!! Very taste, but very rich..nothing a glass of milk won't help!
