1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and vanilla; mix well. Add flour, blending thoroughly. Pat into a greased 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inch jelly roll pan.

Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. While baking, melt chocolate. When cookie is finished baking, spread immediately with melted chips. Sprinkle with non-pareils. Cool and cut into squares.
