1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour, sifted
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts, finely chopped
1 (12 oz.) bar Hershey's chocolate, melted

Cream butter. Add brown sugar, work until light and fluffy. Add beaten egg yolk, vanilla, and sifted flour. Spread thinly on a cookie sheet and bake in a 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Should not be soft to touch. Melt chocolate and spread on cookie surface when it cools. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cut into squares.
