CURRIED TOMATOES 
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
6 tomatoes, sliced or 3 c. stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. evaporated milk or light cream
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. curry powder
Pinch of salt

Saute onion in butter until transparent. Add tomatoes and simmer. Blend remaining ingredients and pour over tomatoes. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. May be served as is or on hot buttered toast.
