ANGEL FLAKE BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 cake yeast
3 c. buttermilk

Sift flour and other dry ingredients. Add shortening and mix until dough is pea size. Dissolve yeast in 3 tablespoons warm water. Add 3 cups of milk and softened yeast to dry mix; mix well. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.

When ready to use drop on floured board and knead gently and shape into biscuit. Place in greased pan. Let stand about 10 minutes then bake at 450 degrees.
