CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
6 med. or 3 lg. sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled & sliced

In large, heavy saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, salt and butter. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring well until butter melts and sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat. Add sliced sweet potatoes, which have been cooked. Baste well with syrup. Cook covered over very low heat, turning once after 15 minutes. Uncover, cook, basting occasionally for 15 minutes longer or until potatoes are well glazed.
