APPLE CLOUD
1 box of cake mix (yellow)
1 can of apple pie filling
butter (about 2 to 2 1/2 sticks)
1 8x8-inch pan

Slice 9-12 pats of butter and place them in the pan. Pour 1/2 of the cake mix over the butter and spread as evenly as possible. Spoon the apple pie filling over the cake mix. (Try to make sure that none of the cake mix is seen).

Sprinkle the second half of the cake mix over the pie filling. Top the pats of butter (about 9-12 pats) over the the cake mix (OR) the butter can be melted (about 1 1/2 sticks) and poured over the cake mix. Try not to leave any of the cake mix dry.

Bake at 350°F in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: You may use cherry, peach, fresh fruit, or other type pie fillings. If using fresh fruit, slice it up and pour sugar (about a cup or more) over the fruit and refrigerator overnight. White cake mix can be used, especially with fruit like cherries, blueberries, etc. - fruits with deep or dark colors.
