CANDIED SWEET POTATOES 
3 or 4 medium size sweet potatoes
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar

Peel and slice sweet potatoes. Put in a skillet that has been sprayed with cooking oil. Dot butter all over potatoes. Cover and let cook on medium heat. Turn potatoes occasionally. When almost done, add sugar. Sprinkle over top. Keep lid on and reduce heat to low. Cook until done and sugar dissolves.
