PIZZA FRUIT PIE | |
3/4 c. butter 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1 1/2 c. flour CRUST: Soften butter. Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Blend in flour. Press in bottom of pizza pan or square pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Cool. VANILLA FILLING: 1 (10 oz.) vanilla chips 1/4 c. milk or cream Melt above in microwave until soft. Beat in cream cheese (8 ounces). Spread on cool crust. Cut up any fruit and put on top: peaches, blueberries, drained pineapple chunks, strawberries, etc. Press with hand fruit down on crust. Take 3 to 4 tablespoons apricot or peach preserves and add a little water, heat in microwave to thin. Brush on top of pizza. This can be made ahead. |
