BROCCOLI BEEF 
1 1/4 lb. lean beef (chicken, turkey, shrimp)

Cut meats into thin strips less than 1/4 inch thick. Works best if meat is partially frozen.

Mix with:

1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
3-4 slices ginger root
2 tbsp. oil

Have ready 4 cups fresh broccoli cut into 2 inch pieces; peel stalks, slice diagonally; lightly steam.

GRAVY:

Mix together:

1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1-2 tbsp. oyster-flavored sauce
1/2 c. water

Saute meat in 2 separate batches. Add mixed gravy ingredients, scraping bottom of pan. Return first batch meat and broccoli. Toss to blend. Serve with rice.
