When I make pineapple spread I use the following:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1/2 can crushed pineapple (drained) add more or less to your liking
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

This recipe is so simple and delish! I eat it with baked cinnamon sugar pita crisps. Recommend to all!

Add cranberries for a little substance and salty sweet combination. Dip with graham sticks.

I make this but add a box of french vanilla pudding (powder form). Mix into a ball. Top with pecans and eat with Ritz crackers... Mmmmmmmmmm ;-)

I love this. I add pecans or walnuts and serve it in an actual pineapple with wheat thins. It's so pretty and yummy!

The pineapple cream cheese dip is easy to make and is wonderful served with chicken in a biscuit crackers. My family has been eating it this way for about 20 yrs. now. Try it, I know everyone will love it.
