1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/8 tsp. allspice
1 1/2 c. finely chopped apple
1 c. chopped nuts

Prepare cake mix according to package directions, but decrease water by 1/3 cup. Add remaining ingredients, pour into prepared pans and bake according to package directions. (May need 5 minutes more baking time.) When cool, frost with cream cheese frosting.
