1 pkg. Spice cake mix
2 cans apple pie filling
2 tbsp. lemon juice plus enough apple juice to make 1 cup liquid or 1 c. water

Sprinkle 1/2 box cake mix into greased oblong 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Pour on 2 cans apple pie filling. Then remaining cake mix. Mix apple juice and lemon juice and carefully distribute over top of mix. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
