SHIPWRECK 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 to 3 potatoes, sliced
3 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. raw rice
1 lb. can kidney beans
1 qt. canned tomatoes
1/4 tsp. sugar
Black pepper
Tomato juice (optional)

Mix meat and onion and 1 teaspoon salt lightly. Place in 9x13 inch pan. Don't pack down. Scatter potatoes over top, then celery. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon salt and rice. Pour beans and liquid on next. Add sugar to tomatoes and pour over all ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Stir a couple times during baking.
