SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1 sm. head lettuce, torn into pieces
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 sm. red onion, chopped
1 can English peas
1 pt. Hellman's mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
Parmesan cheese
Crumbled bacon (optional)

Cook peas. Let cool. Place vegetables in layers in clear deep bowl and cover with mayonnaise. Sprinkle sugar on top. Sprinkle enough Parmesan cheese to cover well. Add bacon. Cool in refrigerator.
