FRENCH ONION SOUP 
3 c. sliced onions
2 tbsp. butter
4 c. beef consomme (3 cans)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 slices French bread, toasted
Sliced Mozzarella cheese

In large covered saucepan, cook onions in butter over low heat 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add consomme and Worcestershire sauce; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Place 1 slice toasted French bread in each of 4 soup bowls. Pour hot soup over bread and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
