PECAN CRESCENTS 
1 c. sifted flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 stick of butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. ground pecans
2 tsp. milk

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Add pecans and milk. Sift flour and salt and mix well. Roll into small crescent shape (dough will be soft). Place on ungreased baking sheet 1/2 inch apart. Bake for 20 minutes at 300 degrees. Remove from cookie sheet after a few minutes and let stand for 5 minutes. While still warm roll in powdered sugar. Don't roll when very hot or confectioners sugar will melt on them. Makes 46 to 48 cookies.
