OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk
2 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1 3/4 c. flour
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Sift flour and baking soda together. Blend butter and sugars together; add eggs. Mix well. Add vanilla and milk. Add flour mixture. Mix well. Stir in oatmeal, chips and nuts. Drop by spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Can be used for bars. Press dough in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan and bake 30 to 35 minutes or until light golden brown. Store in tight container.
