APPLE PORK CHOPS 
1 lb. very lean pork chops (4 x 4 oz. equal chops)
Salt & pepper
2 tart apples
Ginger

Cut all excess fat from chops. Season with salt and pepper. Brown in teflon skillet. While chops are browning, peel and core apples. Cut into 4 thick rings from each of the 4 halves. (Eat leftover apples.)

Add a little water to the pork chops, top each with an apple ring. Cover and cook over low heat until tender, about 30 minutes.

For One: Pork chop - 3 meat exchanges = 219 calories. Apple - 1 fruit = 40 calories. Total calories - 259.
