3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. tomato soup
3/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. nuts

Cream shortening. Add sugar slowly. Add dry ingredients and add creamed mixture with tomato soup which has been combined with water. Mix thoroughly. Add raisins and nuts; pour into well greased tube pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) for 1 hour. Cool and ice with Cream Cheese Frosting.
