1 (6 oz.) pkg. black cherry Jello
2 c. boiling water
3 lg. bananas
1 c. chopped nuts
1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Dissolve Jello in water. Add ice cream a little at a time, whipping with electric mixer until completely melted. Add bananas and nuts. Whip until bananas are thoroughly mixed through. Chill until set.
