PUMPKIN PIE CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix (2 layer size) (reserve 1 cup)
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter (very soft)
1 egg

Mix together and press into 9 x 13 inch pan or glass dish.

FILLING:

1 lg. can pumpkin (1 lb. 13 oz. size)
3 eggs
2/3 c. evaporated milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar

Mix ingredients together and pour over crust.

TOPPING:

1 c. reserved cake mix
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) softened butter
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix cake mix, sugar and butter together until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling. Sprinkle pecans on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Serve warm or cold with whipped topping. Just 3 steps; sounds complicated but isn't really.
