HOBO BREAD 
Soak overnight (covered) 2 cups raisins in 2 1/2 cups boiling water with 4 teaspoons soda. In the morning add 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white sugar, 4 tablespoons oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 4 cups flour and nuts. Put into three, one pound coffee cans (greased and floured). Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool at least 1/2 hour before removing from cans. (Can be frozen).
